So I was talking to my acting professor at my college (University of Missouri St. Louis) and I learned from him that I can get a job with him being a stage hand for the AMAZING Touhill thatre. I'd be a stage hand, and all I'd have to do is build scenery and move it on cue during a performance. These are things I'm willing to do for free because I love theatre and it's going to be my career (eventually), but now I'm getting paid somewhere around 9 bucks an hour to do it!

Life is good right now.

I finished reading His Dark Materials again and now I've been thinking about myself to see if I can figure out what shape my Dæmon would take.



Now for explanations for those who are unaware. His Dark Materials, by Philip Pullman, is the trilogy of Northern Lights (The Golden Compass here in the states), The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass.

A "Dæmon" is the physical manifestation of a person's soul, taking the shape of an animal. A Dæmon reflects your personality. Childrens' Dæmons can change shape because of their potential, and a Dæmon's form settles around puberty, keeping one shape.


So, what is your Dæmon? I'm pretty sure mine would be some kind of otter, weasel, marten, or raccoon.

So we have a winner.


I'd like to mention that I don't like either of the "big" candidates. Obama is too much of a socialist for me to get behind, and Mcain is essentially another Bush. Neither are/were fit to be president of the USA.

Either way, we'd have been screwed.
