Kick Ass New Job!

So I was talking to my acting professor at my college (University of Missouri St. Louis) and I learned from him that I can get a job with him being a stage hand for the AMAZING Touhill thatre. I'd be a stage hand, and all I'd have to do is build scenery and move it on cue during a performance. These are things I'm willing to do for free because I love theatre and it's going to be my career (eventually), but now I'm getting paid somewhere around 9 bucks an hour to do it!

Life is good right now.

Wow, that does kind of sound slike fun.

I'm glad you were able to find something like that, it'll really look good on a resume if you want to get into theater.

Yeah it will.

Only problem is sporadic hours, but I'm kind of cool with that.

I figured it would be the kind of thing with weird hours from the sound of it, but still, it's at least a temporary paycheck, right? (Or, in your case, aditional paycheck?)

It'll be my main paycheck, but I'm probably going to keep my old job but with significantly less hours.

Ouch, but at least you still have some hours which is a whole lot better then being let go.

Yeah. I can always go back to my old job, my boss has told me I'm the best worker he's ever had. It's not a hard job though, so I doubt it's any great feat.
